Abstract

In this study, we recorded and estimated the richness and diversity of mammals at UFSCar, Araras campus, a highly modified landscape. Using camera traps over a 13-month period between October 2023 and December 2024, a total of 24 mammal species were recorded, including 21 native species, one exotic species, and two domestic species. Among the native species, four are classified in some category of threat by the IUCN, which highlights the importance of the area as a passageway for fauna and demonstrates its significant role in conservation.
